Tim Hortons Camp - Sharing our Experience!

Today we will be working on creating presentations about our time at Tim Hortons camp, which we will be showing to our class and the others classes that came with us! One presentation will be chosen to be shown at an assembly at the end of the year, so make sure it is your best work! Didn't go to the Tim Hortons camp? That's okay! You can help your classmates put their slideshow together.

Task 1:

Using the iPads, have a partner record a video of you sharing your experiences at the Tim Hortons camp. We will be adding this video to a slideshow presentation you will be making this afternoon.

Treat the video like an interview – have your partner ask you the question and you answer them. After your interview is done, switch.

Examples of good interview questions:
>What were some fun activities you did at camp?
>What did you learn at camp? BE SPECIFIC. (Bad Answer = “I learned how to help out more at home”)  (Good Answer = “I learned about slavery and the history of the Underground Railroad, how to properly make a bed, and how to do tie dye.”)

>What was your favourite part of camp?

Your interview video should be no longer than 1 minute.

Here you will find a bunch of pictures taken by your teachers at the Tim Hortons camp! Your task is to make a slideshow using Microsoft Powerpoint using these pictures!

To add a picture to your powerpoint presentation:
Step 1: Double click on the picture to make it bigger
Step 2: Right click on the picture and press copy
Step 3: Open the slide on the presentation you want to add the picture to, right click, and click paste.

Use as many as you want and be creative!
